Our horses are hand-selected, experienced, well-trained, sweet, and we feel they are the stars of our show. Their care and well-being are a top priority at Orange Blossom Ranch, and we love each and every one of them--we know you will too!
- For Trail Rides off property, riders must be at least 7 years of age, unless the rider has prior equestrian experience--young or timid riders may be ponied at the Trailmaster's discretion
- Riders may not weigh over 240 lbs
- Riders should be attired in long pants and closed-toed shoes
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled ride time
- ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR AN APPROVED HELMET--we have many helmets available for your use, free of charge
- The speed of the ride will be at the Trailmaster's discretion, and safety is our priority at all times. Trail etiquette dictates that we ride to the ability of the least experienced rider in the group. We want everyone to have fun and love horses as much as we do! Trail rides are a relaxing chance to enjoy nature and the beauty of the Goethe State Forest, so most of our rides are at a casual and comfortable pace.
Orange Blossom Ranch does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities.
Our prices reflect the upscale and unique nature of the services we provide. We strive to offer you a top-notch riding experience, and we are VERY proud of our trail riding adventures! If you think we have done an excellent job, please thank us with a nice online review at Google Maps, Yahoo Local, Facebook, Trip Advisor, or any other online review services! We appreciate your vote of confidence and kind words!
Riding may be scheduled in the morning or the afternoon. You must call ahead to schedule and/or inquire about availability. The earlier you call to secure your ride time/date, the better, as our program is very popular and fills quickly! By accessing our online booking tool, you can see when rides and spaces are available. If you would like to ride during a time not offered through online booking, please feel free to call us, and we will make every attempt to accommodate you. Our horse's well-being is very important to us, so advance scheduling allows us to organize our horses so everyone has a reasonable work load and gets appropriate days off to rest and enjoy horse downtime! We like happy horses, and you will too!
Late cancels and no shows will be charged full price, and the cost is non-refundable and non-transferable to a rescheduled time. This includes last-minute decisions not to ride. Please be aware of our 24 hour cancellation policy. If WE cancel your ride due to inclement weather, a full refund or a reschedule will be offered. Late arrivals will have reduced saddle time in order for us to be able to stay on schedule.
Your telephone call is important! If we cannot immediately answer your call, please leave a brief message with your name/phone number and we will return your call as quickly as possible. You may also text us.
This is a "ride at your own risk" activity. You are required to sign a liability waiver before mounting up. Those in your party who are not riding but who are spending time on the ranch and around animals, must also have a signed waiver on file. We have done everything within our power to ensure your safety (all tack is in good working order, horses are trained and experienced, helmets are provided), however, we cannot control or guarantee your riding ability, acts of Mother Nature, the natural unpredictability of equines and other animals, or the weather. Florida is a "no liability" state, meaning that an equestrian professional cannot be held liable for any injuries sustained while taking part in an equestrian activity. The Florida Statute reads specifically as follow
Florida Equine Activity Statute
TITLE XLV TORTS
CHAPTER 773 EQUINE ACTIVITIES
As used in §§ 773.01-773.05:
Under Florida law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.
